Hand Hygiene Poster Design Contest 2026
Dear students of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy – Van Hien University!
Hand hygiene is one of the simplest yet most effective measures to prevent infections, protecting patients, healthcare workers, and the community. With the desire to raise awareness and promote proper hand hygiene practices, the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy is launching the Hand Hygiene Poster Design Contest 2026, under the theme: "Van Hien YDers – Clean Hands, Safe Care".
This is an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your creativity, apply your specialized knowledge in infection control, and collectively build meaningful messages toward a safe and professional learning and clinical practice environment.
(*) ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPANTS
• Each class is required to form at least 01 contest team.
• Free-registration teams are highly encouraged.
• Each team must consist of 05 to 10 members.
(*) CONTEST FORMAT
• Design 01 Poster (A2 size) matching the contest theme.
• Accompanied by 01 presentation introducing the concept and message of the poster.
• Completely hand-drawn posters or outstanding creative ideas are highly encouraged.
(*) REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PRESENTATION
• Present the design concept, the meaning of the imagery, and the message of the poster.
• The content must be concise, succinct, and easy to understand.
• Word count must not exceed 350 words.
(*) TIMELINE
• Poster execution period: From June 1, 2026, to June 10, 2026.
• Submission deadline: No later than June 12, 2026, at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy Office.
(*) PRIZE STRUCTURE
• First Prize: 1,000,000 VND + Certificate of Merit.
• Second Prize: 500,000 VND + Certificate of Merit.
• Third Prize: 300,000 VND + Certificate of Merit.
• Consolation Prize: 200,000 VND + Certificate of Merit.

(*) GRADING CRITERIA
According to the Jury’s standards, the maximum total score is 100 points, evaluated based on the following criteria and contents:
• Medical & Professional Content: Accurate hand hygiene knowledge, aligned with medical guidelines (20 points).
• Communication & Message Impact: Easy to understand, memorable, and highly inspiring (20 points).
• Creativity: Novel ideas and unique presentation methods (15 points).
• Layout & Aesthetics: Harmonious, clear, and visually appealing (15 points).
• Presentation: Logical and concise explanation of the poster’s concept and meaning (15 points).
• Practical Applicability: Feasible for use in learning environments, hospitals, and health communication (10 points).
• Completely Hand-Drawn Poster: Bonus incentive points (5 points).
