As part of the 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign, the green-shirted volunteers of Van Hien University (VHU) traveled to Tam Nong Commune, Dong Thap Province, bringing with them the enthusiasm of youth and a strong commitment to serving the community.
Through practical and meaningful projects, VHU students have contributed new colors to the local landscape, turning every volunteer journey into not only a memorable experience but also a lasting contribution to the lives of local residents.
💡 At K12 Hamlet, 50 solar-powered streetlights were installed as part of the “Lighting Up Rural Roads” project. The initiative has brought light to rural roads, making travel and daily activities more convenient and safer for local residents after dark.
Meanwhile, at Phu Xuan Hamlet, the National Flag Road project featuring 300 Vietnamese national flags has brought vibrant red-and-yellow colors to the countryside, spreading national pride and love for the homeland.
✨ Guided by Van Hien University's educational philosophy, “Becoming a Good Person Before Becoming Famous,” and the spirit of “Van Hien Students – Ready to Contribute,” every project in Tam Nong represents more than a practical contribution to the community. It also reflects the spirit of a generation of students who embrace responsibility, care for others, and proactively contribute to their homeland.
Every light turned on and every national flag raised tells a beautiful story of VHU youth — traveling to experience, acting to contribute, and growing through acts of kindness.
