Last April, the VHU RUN TO SHARE race took place successfully, attracting hundreds of students, lecturers, and amateur athletes. Joining hands with the event, the lecturers and students from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, Van Hien University played a crucial role as the medical support team, significantly contributing to the safety and well-being of all race participants.

1. Side by side with the runners – Skilled hands, compassionate hearts

Under the dedicated guidance of their lecturers, Nursing students were stationed along the race route, undeterred by the sun or fatigue. They promptly provided first aid, medical care, and encouragement to runners. From minor scrapes to fatigue and muscle cramps, all situations were handled quickly, professionally, and with great responsibility.

2. Recharging with heart and smiles

Beyond medical care, the “friendly – enthusiastic – thoughtful” water supply team was another unforgettable highlight. At each station, students eagerly handed water bottles to runners with warm smiles and words of encouragement. Simple yet sincere cheers and applause became powerful motivation for participants to reach the finish line.

3. A meaningful hands-on learning experience

This event was a valuable opportunity for students to hone their practical skills, teamwork, and adaptability in real-life situations. More importantly, it allowed them to embody the ethical values, sense of responsibility, and compassion essential to the medical profession.
