On March 8, 2026, at Van Hien University, the Red Sunday 2026 blood donation program took place in a vibrant and meaningful atmosphere. Students from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy actively participated in the organization, contributing to the smooth and safe execution of the program.
With the responsibility and enthusiasm of future medical students, they participated in various activities such as guiding blood donors through registration procedures, assisting with vital signs measurements, directing participants, and monitoring and caring for donors after the donation. Their dedication and attentiveness contributed to creating a friendly, safe, and professional blood donation environment.
Through this activity, students not only demonstrated their volunteer spirit for the community but also had the opportunity to apply their professional knowledge, hone their communication skills, and improve their healthcare skills in practice. This is also an opportunity for students of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy to demonstrate their role in community health activities, in line with the responsibility and compassion of future healthcare professionals.

The “Red Sunday” program continues to affirm its practical significance in calling on the community to join hands in donating blood to save lives, contributing to supplementing the blood supply for treatment at medical facilities. The Red Sunday 2026 program, organized in coordination with Van Hien University, Tien Phong Newspaper, and with the professional support of Military Hospital 175, has contributed to spreading the message “Donating blood saves lives – A noble act” to a large number of students and the community.
