To help nursing students gain practical experience while still in school, the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, Van Hien University, organized a practical training program at Binh Chanh Regional Medical Center and City International Hospital.
At these medical facilities, students were introduced to an overview of the nursing profession, the role and position of nurses in the healthcare system, and the organizational chart of the nursing system at each unit. Through this, students gained a better understanding of the operational structure and the collaborative relationships between nurses and other members of the patient care team.

In addition to career orientation, students also learned about the diverse job positions of nurses, from clinical nursing and managerial nursing to specialized fields in a modern healthcare environment. This is a valuable opportunity to help students visualize their career path early on and identify suitable learning goals for themselves.

🎓In particular, students had the opportunity to visit and experience specialized departments, observe patient care procedures, the working environment, and the professional demeanor of the nursing staff. These practical experiences help students better understand "a day in the life of a nurse," thereby enhancing their awareness of responsibility, medical ethics, and the spirit of serving patients.
✍️Business experience activities are one of the efforts of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, Van Hien University, in connecting training with practice, contributing to improving the quality of training and fostering a workforce of capable, confident, and humane nurses for society.
